2019 Pinot Noir Rosé

A 100% pinot noir rosé from three distinct blocks of Prophet Vineyard in Eola-Amity Hills. Grown in Nekia and Rittner soils, the three blocks consist of 115, 828 and a mixed block of 13 different clones. The bright rosé projects red fruits, pear and melon paired with a natural acidity. Though skin contact is short-lived, the wine produces the same distinctive floral aromatics that one expects from a Van Duzer Corridor impacted Eola-Amity Hill’s vineyard. The smooth and well-integrated rosé is clearly made from high quality fruit, and its overall structure surprises for a rosé.

Prophet Vineyard is LIVE Certified and sustainably farmed. The opulent fruit that comes from Prophet Vineyard reflects the combination of volcanic and marine sedimentary soils that lie on the south facing slopes. The site runs from 440’ to 615’ in elevation. The vineyard is directly exposed to the cooling winds of the Van Duzer Corridor. The five major soils are Chehulpum, Steiwer, Rittner, Nekia and Jory. The wine includes block clones 115 and 828, and a field mix block of 13 unique clones.
