2017 Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir

The first pinot noir exclusively from our own L.I.V.E. Certified & sustainable vineyard. Smoked blackberry coulee and black cherry open on the nose of this bold dark fruited pinot. Notes of rich tilled soil and gunflint develop further on the palate contributing a savory foil for the notes of dark fruit. An incredible first offering from our young vineyard.

Prophet Vineyard is LIVE Certified and sustainably farmed. The opulent fruit that comes from Prophet Vineyard reflects the combination of volcanic and marine sedimentary soils that lie on the south facing slopes. The site runs from 440’ to 615’ in elevation. The vineyard is directly exposed to the cooling winds of the Van Duzer Corridor. The five major soils are Chehulpum, Steiwer, Rittner, Nekia and Jory. The Estate wine includes 777, 943, 828, Mt. Eden, Swan, Calera, Pommard, Coury and Wadenswil clones.
