2016 Domaine 524 – La Chenaie Vineyard Pinot Noir
The wine is a delightful, classic expression of a cool climate Oregon pinot noir. Bright red fruits dominate the palate as red cherry, cranberry and strawberry dominate your mouth. Aromas of cranberry, dried flowers and vanilla blend wonderfully with the fruit forward, silky and crisp wine. A tart candied orange zest flavor layers under the intense fruit. Drink starting in 2019 and for the next ten years.
La Chenaie Vineyard is located in Eola-Amity Hills AVA and has volcanic soils – Jory, Gelderman, and Ritner.
