2015 La Chenaie Vineyard Pinot Noir

The wine is a delightful, classic expression of a cool climate Oregon pinot noir. Bright red fruits dominate the palate as red cherry, cranberry and strawberry dominate your mouth. Aromas of cranberry, dried flowers and vanilla blend wonderfully with the fruit forward, silky and crisp wine. A tart candied orange zest flavor layers under the intense fruit. Drink starting in 2018 and for the next ten years.

La Chenaie Vineyard is located in Eola-Amity Hills AVA and has volcanic soils – Jory, Gelderman, and Ritner. The site is influenced by the afternoon breezes from the Van Duzer corridor in the Coastal Range, as is much of the western portion of the Eola-Amity Hills. The vineyard’s elevation ranges from 460' to 585'and has aspects of South, Southeast and Southwest. La Chenaie is farmed using sustainable farming practices, including organic and biodynamic disciplines.
