2014 Armstrong Vineyard Pinot Noir
Black cherry, blackberries and dried fruit with just a hint of rose petals fill your nose as this pleasing pinot opens in the glass. Blueberry, plum and blackberry are the most prevalent fruits, but black licorice and dark chocolate linger under the powerful fruits. The superbly balanced wine has a velvety mouth feel and a long graceful finish. The complex harmony of the 2014 cuvee is drinking beautifully now and should for years to come.
The Ribbon Ridge AVA vineyard is organically and dry farmed. The opulent fruit that comes from the south facing slopes of the vineyard represent well the rich fruit grown in the Chehalum Mountains. The site sits at just over 330 feet elevation.
