The Micheline represents our two barrel select reserve from the 2017 vintage. Almost 75% whole cluster and barrel aged for 16 months, the wine represents its terroir with an earthy Eola-Amity funk paired with a nice balance of natural acid and tannins. Big dark fruits dominate the wine. Dark plum and black cherry combine with an under-tone of cherry-cola to pleasure your palate. The wine is still evolving, so we recommend decanting or letting the wine breath for a few hours if you are going to drink it soon. Otherwise, let it mature and enjoy a Prophet Vineyard classic in a couple of years.
